On a recent leisurely drive on a nice winter Sunday we ended up in Williamstown and went to Saigon Vietnamese. It was my second time and I had high expectations. It must have been my menu choices, because it was just not what I was hoping for. The pork satay was more like a piece of bacon from the charbroiler... More

Came in last night for dinner with a friend. It was just us at first. The food came out quick and was pretty good along with the service. The waitress was very very friendly always smiling and happy to help with anything. A family of 4 came in about halfway through our meal and the waitress was just as friendly and... More

Came in tonight on a snowy evening with my family . Food mediocre and the service terrible . The women waitress said she was the daughter of the owner. She was on her phone and had a friend near by waiting for her . She was rude and unattentive and when we complained she said she didn't care and that... More

When Saigon, first opened in town some fool college critic wrote an unappreciative review which people foolishly trusted. Then the restaurant took some time trying to define its atmosphere. After some rather silly ideas, the place finally has the environment down. It is a fairly cozy and colorful place to indulge in Vietnamese specialties. The wait staff, who are Vietnamese,... More

I visit Saigon whenever I get the chance. They have an extensive menu and the servers are well versed in what each dish entails! I love that the prices are reasonable and the food is so flavorful and rich, their portions are extremely generous and it never fails that I enjoy every bite so much that I usually get something... Had a great meal at Saigon. Super fresh, great value and friendly staff. Casual restaurant but really good food - didn't expect such great Vietnamese food in Williamstown! Well worth a visit

We attended Williams College back in the day when if you wanted anything to eat other than fried mystery meat shapes in the college cafeteria or pizza, you had to drive somewhere. We had a light lunch here. We shared a large noodle soup and some cold rice paper spring rolls with a sweet peanut dipping sauce. The food was... More

My only experience with Vietnamese food is the vendor at the farmers market in Ithaca, NY. so I am only somewhat familiar with the style of cooking and the flavors. I would expect that anyone who enjoys Asian style foods, whether Chinese or Thai will also like Vietnamese. The Saigon has a nice dining room and it was fairly busy... More

My wife and I had an early dinner (approx. 4pm) at the Saigon on May 20, 2012. We were there a little over an hour and we were the only customers during that time. Perhaps that was a message. The food was very bland and did not taste fresh to us, especially the beef. My wife left much of her... More
