found this restaurant on capecodrestaurantweek.com and chose it because of the menu offerings. was not disappointed! Everything was wonderful, from the ambiance, to the service to the meal, of course. I enjoyed rice paper wrapped shrimp, scallops over orzo with spinach and feta and for desert, creme brûlée. my only comments are that you should make a reservation (which i... More

I took my mom here today for mother's day brunch. Everything was great, the only reason I didn't give an excellent rating was due to the price. There were 3 of us and the bill came to $137. This was including 3 for the buffet, a bloody mary and two juices. Our server was very nice with a good sense... More

Thank you for your reivew. At $35.95 for the Mother's Day Brunch I believe that we offered our diners an amazing array of well-prepared food that that would appeal to meat eaters, seafood lovers, vegetarians and children and it was all beautifully presented. When you consider what you would pay for just Lobster Bisque and Baked Stuffed Shrimp alone, the... More

A group of ladies went here on May 2, 2013, and had a wonderful lunch. We were greeted at the entrance and it could not have been better, I had the fish which was very fresh and moist. Another lady had the spare ribs which she said were tender and very tasty. We had the bread pudding for dessert which... More

My husband and I got married at the Old Yarmouth Inn this past Saturday, April 13, 2013. The service and food was nothing less than perfect. The staff are some of the most friendly people I have had the pleasure of meeting. The food was absolutely delicious and the efficiency of which food was brought out was great! We have... More

We were a party of 6 and were welcomed without a reservation. The menu was varied, a 3 course special before 6 PM, specials of the evening, and an extensive regular menu. All but one of our diners were happy with their dinner, the rack of lamb was over cooked. The waitress pointed out to us that the tip was... More

Thank you for taking the time to post about your experience with the Old Yarmouth Inn - I think I remember your group walking in and as I recall you got the large table in the dining room. My only regret is that we didn't get a perfect score and apologize that the Rack of Lamb was too well done.... More

Thank you for your very thorough description of our Sunday Brunch Buffet - as I like to say it is a slighly decadent way to spend a Sunday! Two other friends and I were looking forward to having the Sunday Brunch. I made reservations on the Old Yarmouth Inn website. When we arrived, the hostess did not have our reservation. She said that "someone" did not check the online reservations, so she could not seat us in the glassed-in dining area. The people who called in their reservations... More

Thank you for your review. I am very sorry that there was some confusion with the online reservations. The Main Dining room is requested by many of the regular customers that come for Brunch, but the Tavern where you sat offers a more peaceful setting without the movement of people lining up for the Buffet. I am certainly pleased that... More
