First of all, this is not a restaurant-it's a bottle shop-AKA old school liquor store with a deli counter. But, the type of place you send your kids on their bikes to pick up sandwiches. Family vibe/local owned. All cash unless you have a house account. You will see a line out the door in summer, but don't let that... More

Be prepared to wait in line during the summer months and Saturdays to get one of these sandwiches on fresh baked breads loaded with meat , cheese and condiments of your choice. The "Wreck" is my favorite with all the meats, cheese and Gurney's delic sauce on Pumpernickle bread. If your looking for a bottle of wine this is also... More

Great sandwiches and a good wine selection. Lots of pop, chips. Carry-out only no credit cards. Go rent a kayak from outfitters and eat your guernwich in the harbor.

When in Harbor Springs, you must visit Gurney's Harbor Bottle Shop and order and savor one of their sandwiches. They are made to order and take out. Took ours to the beach with beverage and delicious dill pickle. Had ham & cheese with their special condiment. Thick! Tasty! Homemade bread! What's not to like? Highly recommend.

Been having sandwiches from Gurney's every year since I was a kid. Fresh baked bread with a nice big pile of meat- it can't be beat! They give you pickles on the side which is one of our family weaknesses! A bit pricey at 6.25 a sandwich but once a year it is worth it! IT is actually a sandwich... More

Wonderful fresh made deli sandwiches on just- out- of- the- oven baked bread! Deli sauce is super tasty. The long lines are worth the wait- trust me. Take your sandwich down to Harbor Beach and enjoy :)

My friend grew up in harbor springs and when i asked what to do on my honeymoon there she said 'get a gurney's sandwich' and eat it down by the water and watch the boats. It didn't disappoint! We are going back for two days at the end of this month and that will be on our agenda again.

I've been going to Harbor Springs since the 60s. Gurney's has been there for as long as I can remember and I've been a regular customer for that long too. This place is a family owned business that personifies American business. I can always count on high quality service and products. The deli counter, while not huge, puts out top... More

I'm slightly obsessed with Gurney's Deli! I talk it up so much to people who have not gone, and fear that I may over-sell it, but then I have one of their sandwiches and realize it's not possible for the food to be over promised and under delivered here! The bread I believe is made fresh daily, they pile on... More
