Lunch time was pretty quiet but the food really woke me up! The steak twister was excellent! The waitress marissa was both cute and very helpful!!

We've eaten here many times, and it's difficult to beat the pulled pork....there are many menu items that are good, and most are reasonably priced. Always have had good service, good food, and a good time here! They are owned by the same folks who own Pearl's in Elk Rapids, and it shows. Not quite 5-star, but solid 3 to...

The food is described as Latin. The steak and smoked bean burrito was outstanding! The steak was tender and flavorful. The pork enchiladas were generous with meat but lacking any flavorful punch. Fried ice cream with habenero chocolate sauce sounded interesting sadly we were just too full. Nice to have happy hour on the weekend.
We went to this restaurant looking for good mexican food and were surprised to find it is not actually "mexican." The menu is based around South American options such as Brazilian Steak. I was prepared to be underwhelmed, because Red Mesa is part of a chain and I was expecting a corporate vibe. But the service was so warm and the food so delicious (we had jerked salmon with house-smoked refried beans YUM) and the setting so happy and pretty I was won over. This turned out to be the best of...

On a snowy eve, sitting by the fireplace and sharing a tasty burrito was just delightful and cozy! Portions were large.
We knew it was going to be a great night from the minute we walked in. Our waitress (I wish I remembered her name) was so attentive and helpful! She went above and beyond in so many ways it was amazing. The salsa was delicious as was everything else. We even got a special celebratory fried ice cream on the...

When we got there and looked at the menu we were disappointed that it was not a Mexican restaurant. The prices on the menu were quite high. I ordered a Casa Margarita and it was like water. We decided it share a chicken fajita and we were lucky if there was a complete chicken breast in it. It was not...

We visited the Traverse City location on 3/20/2013. Marissa waited on us and was helpful in explaining the menu and answering our questions. We ordered the Guatemalan chicken and another dish and both were very good. We mentioned to Marissa that we were going to share the two meals so we could each try both. When the food arrived we...
