I stopped at the Northern Waters Smokehaus for lunch while in Duluth on business. I had the Cajun Finn sandwich and it was amazing. All their ingredients are fresh and local. They use a great combination of flavors to create this master piece. This is by far a must stop when visiting!

The Smokehaus had been recommended by the B&B - it was very busy when we arrived but it was definately worth the wait. The smoked fish is fabulous.

Excellent smoked salmon. The portion was large! Not much seating; located in the Dewitt-Switzerland building by the water. Nice, friendly staff. Cost less than $8.

When in Duluth, will get the corned beef sandwich which is for lumberjack appetites. If going up the North Shore will stop for a picnic lunch. Can not beat any of sandwiches. Wonderful fish too. In the back of the Dewitt-Seitz building. Accomodating, friendly and knowlegeable. Don't miss it.
