My husband & I have spent many date nights at Va Bene. We love taking other couples, too, to introduce them to the delicious Italian food and quaint atmosphere. And we never miss an opportunity to sample the gelato bar!

We enjoyed a delightful meal from the pasta choice menu, sitting at a table overlooking Lake Superior. Good service and reasonable price. Salad special was beets with goat cheese - lovely.

This little jewel has become our favourite Duluth dining experience. From the quaintness, to the excellent wait staff (Erica especially), to the pasta bar, to the great wine list, we have always had an awesome meal. Oh, and the gelato..........

Went for a late dinner. Had a sweet potato gnocchi with walnuts, cranberry relish and a cream sauce. My husband had a beef and blue cheese pasta. Shared a small cup of gelato for dessert - slam dunk!

Great food, great wine, great place to go with friends. You can eat dinner while watching the lakers and saleboats.

My wife and I always have the best experience when we visit Va Bene. Get the #13 or the steak special!

We enjoy the atmosphere and wish we could say the pasta dishes were better than mediocre. We gave it a third try for dinner because we really want to like the place but sadly we won't return.
