We just stopped in for a glass of wine and dessert. It was perfect. It is small and quiet. I would have liked a few more dessert choices, but what they did have was good.

Just one comment: Moraccan chicken. OK OK, also the mussels in coconut milk w/kaffir lime leaf. Good wine and oft-quirky waitstaff. If the restaurant didn't have a French name, I'd have to add gemütlich. Before or after, don't miss the Edina Theater--just about anything playing there is super.
We love to stop before or after a movie for a glass of wine and an appetizer or dinner. The atmosphere is great and the service is warm and friendly.
We're big fans of Beaujo's. When needing a quiet evening (or even an after-evening) on our own just to sit and chat, we'll often head there. Broad, diverse selection of excellent and often uncommon reds, whites and dessert wines by the glass which, for the quality and amount you get, are fairly reasonably priced (not sure other reviewers complaining about...

We gave this place a third try before finally deciding there can be better places to go at 50th & France. The wine and light food prices are a bit too high for what you get and the beer selections are way too limited with high prices. The killer of this place has to be the bad management. While service...

I went with a friend, we ordered a couple 1/2 glasses and an appetizer. The bartender had time to chat and gave us some really great information about the wine!!! Incredibly enjoyable.
Cute spot with great wine and yummy flatbreads. Now that Edina has happy hour, it's even better!
I'm in love with this intimate wine bar in the heart of 50th and France in Edina, MN! Very nice wine offerings that change periodically, simple but elegant noshes, friendly and helpful wait staff and a rotation of art work (for purchase) thanks to Gallery 360 adorns the walls. Have been here many times and always enjoy it.
Two of us went here after a movie. This is a moderately sized (perhaps room for 30) bistro near the corner of France and 50th. A nice, but not extensive wine list. Various appetizers, sandwiches. I had a chicken sandwich - quite good $11.00, my companion had 3 spreads and bread. She liked it a lot. Service was pleasant, friendly.
Had lunch here with another couple. Unique menu items and good wine list. Enjoyed the bahn mi Vietnamese sandwich. The place is small which is not necessarily bad... makes things cozy; but something to consider if you come on a weekend evening and hit the dinner rush. Prices are a little on the high side but considering its the 50th...
