Atmosphere Barrio has a downtown, swanky feel. The beautiful bar is the focal point of the restaurant with it's dark woods and back wall lined with tequila bottles and various other liquors. Service The service wasn't good or bad, it just was. Our server lacked personality, but was prompt and attentive. Presentation Nothing over-the-top, but definitely made it enticing enough... More

We were in MSP at Terminal 2 (fka Humphrey Terminal) suffering a delayed departure. There are more branches of this restaurant in the Twin Cities, but this was apparently the opening day for this location. We had breakfast 'tortas' and they were tasty and reasonably priced for airport food. The service was good and fast for the first day open... More

This quirky looking restaurant is in a good location on Nicollet Mall. The server asked if we had been there before which we hadn't and explained the menu. The menu consists of half appetizers or small plates and regular entrees. Food is brought out when it is ready not when the entire table's food is ready which can be a... More

Went here for lunch recently. Had the $10 lunch. An ample bowl of chips, with three sauces, and two fish tacos. The tacos were unique, but relatively authentic. The chips were addictive with great homemade guacamole.

I love the $10 lunches here. 2 tacos of the week and a dish of guacamole to share for 2 (the guac alone is $10 when ordered regularly off the menu). The happy hours are also great. This Mexican food is fresh, authentic and the atmosphere is wonderful. However, the inside is small and narrow and gets loud and crowded... More

I really like this place - just a little sad there's not more room! Such a wait if you're wanting to just "drop in". Good food, fun atmosphere....

Service was awful, food was even worse. Our waitress was sitting at the table next to us with her friends and kept bringing them "samples" we waited almost an hour for our food and it was cold by the time it was brought to us. Even if it was warm I wouldn't have fed it to my dogs.

Barrio is awesome, I love the fried mahi mahi tacos, they have a delicious sauce and a touch of jalapeno. Their "enter the dragon" margarita is hands down my favorite margarita in MN, it's spicy and sweet, and packs a punch woooo! Their guacamole is also a must!

Not a very large menu, but very flavorful and well priced. Nice little place for a quiet and memorable night out.

We had lunch here before going to the Vikings game and it was fun. The food (tacos and crab soup) were terrific small bits so you could have a variety and great margaritas. They had a bid screen TV so you could see some of the early games. I would go back in a heartbeat.
