Simple food and definitely greasy. It's somewhere between amusement park and cafeteria fare, but even pricier amusement park and cafeteria fare!

My dining companion and I visited this restaurant for lunch. It is located within the Kahler Inn and Suites hotel, and was convenient to where we were staying. Our hopes were high when we saw that both lunch and breakfast items were available throughout the lunch time. The midday fare is rather limited -- sandwiches, some soups and the usual...

No frills, varied menu. Soups, salads, sandwiches, and basic entrees, prepared well, and served with a smile. We ate dinner there twice and breakfast once. Liver and onions, French onion soup, reuben sandwich, made-to-order omelet--all very tasty and reasonably priced.
There was a nice menu with a variety of choices. Wish there were some offerings of smaller portion sizes and more variety in the salads.
I am in town as a mayo patient for a few days and this was out first restaurant to try.Me and my grandmother were not impressed by anything to do with this place at all. It took 10 minutes to be acknowledged by our waiter, 25-30 minutes to receive our drinks, and over an hour to receive our food. It...

We stayed at the Kahler Inn and Suites and the cafe is in the same building so we didn't have to go outside. We ate there at least once a day. The food was good and the staff was so friendly and helpful.
We ate lunch here because it was convenient to Mayo Clinic. The atmosphere is very casual and a little dark and old looking. However, the food was very, very good and the service excellent. We were totally surprised, never expecting to enjoy our meal as much as we did. The restaurant is attached to the Kahler Inn and Suites, but...

The entrees, soups, salads were average and the menu was pretty limited. But it was full and we enjoyed our meal. The decor and furniture isn't anything to write home about, but...

The best things about this restaurant is the location (near the Clinic) and the knowledgeable waitstaff that know exactly what you can and cannot eat the night before your blood tests at Mayo Clinic. The food is fair to good, but many restaurants in the area are better and have better value.
