Giant salads--house, chopped, market or spinach. The ingredients are fresh and creatively assembled. Several pizza options of which we chose two--one with cheese and one without. Both were tasty, with nice, crunchy crusts. House wine was a good companion for the first class food in this very informal place.

First time for coal fired pizza and wasn't disappointed. Good ingredients, excellent local beer selection. We will be back soon. Only bummer is not the best parking,

We tried different kinds of pizza (mushrooms, fennel, margherita) and everything tasted superb! The fresh ingredients made all the difference.

Not my first time at the restaurant, but a group of 11 of us gathered there for dinner last night. The staff was more than accommodating, pulled tables together and got us all seated together. Our glasses stayed full, and eventually so did our stomachs. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

We had two small pizzas that were really good. I thought that the service was really good. We had a nice time and a very good salad that tasted fresh. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who comes to St.Paul. If we had this place in Milwaukee then it would be one of my favorite places to eat... More

Seven of us officemates decided to give this place a try. We tried different pizzas but all agreed they taste so good. I had the cheese, others had the fennel sausage, or pepperoni, or meatballs. I also enjoyed the house salad. The place is low-key but friendly and comfortable. Staff is efficient and helpful. We will be back for sure.

Simple premise--great pizza. I got a pepperoni and meatball 12 inch and we shared a salad. I couldn't ask for more. Service was nice but not over the top. If all you want is a great fresh tasty pizza, this is your place. I'm used to line out the door New Haven, CT pizza--Sally's and Frank Peppe, this is good.... More

A large group of 12 descended on Black Sheep. We were quickly seated and beverage order taken. The group ordered five different 16 inch pizzas to share. Several of us split salads. The Spinach Blue Cheese salad was very good with fresh spinach and a good flavored blue cheese. There were so many combinations of ingredients it was very hard... More

The pizza was delicious, and the service excellent. The waiter was very professional, friendly and made some great suggestions for toppings to try on the pizza. I can't wait to go back!
