at the time I was dating this person and we went to this itailian resturant and have been back every year on our Anniversay since we were married so we were there 20 Years ago and back every year since. Love the food and how original it is.

We've been to Carmelo's many times and have never been disappointed. It's not fancy, definitely a neighborhood place, but the food is authentic and the service is wonderful. Try the brascioletti, you'll be happy you did. And if you are lucky, they will be featuring their butternut squash ravioli
Wonderful small Italian restaurant with very tasty food. The chef is not afraid of herbs and spices and the strip steak I had was delicious and perfectly cooked. The calamari was under cooked and the crab stuffed mushrooms were cool. My signature dish, Chicken Carmelo, was good with a nice sauce but I expected more crispiness in the crust and more...

The good reviews I'd read popped into my head and we swung back around the block to check them out. The prices were amazingly reasonable. I ordered the special (tiger shrimp pasta) and my husband had what he always has, plain old...
