The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was amazing! We were there during April, which is a quieter season for the North Shore, so we were the only people dinning in Splashing Rock at the time we were there, but our waiter was wonderful and attentive. The food was outrageously good!! I had the cedar planked Salmon, and my... More

Awesome food for the price. The wait staff was very attentive and the view was gorgeous. Tasty glass of moscato as well.

We stayed At the Grand Superior Lodge for two nights and decided to eat at the Splashing Rock after checking in. The ambience was pretty. Our first clue that this may not be a good restaurant choice was we were the only people there at dinner time on a Friday night. But, since the decor was pretty and received good... More

If you are looking for a quiet, sophisticated, fine dinning experience then you will not be disappointed. If you are looking for some good ole home cooking for the entire family, kind of place this would not be a good place to go.

Food was truly excellent. Vegetables were lightly cooked and still had some tender crisp to them. VERY flavorful and tasty! Nice presentation. I had the Apple Brie Chicken and my husband had the Bourbon New York Strip. Entree prices ranged from $11 to $36. Average was about $22. Service was just a bit slow and unpolished, but the food more... More

Presentation of food, quality, quantity - all exceptional. Not inexpensive but not outrageous by any means.

The restaurant has great views but not great food. The soup had been reheated in the microwave till it was burning hot and the same with the decaf coffee. The staff was very friendly though.

We ate ther 2 dinners and a breakfast. Also loved the Almond Latte's as the sun went down. Had to try something called "Wild Boar Bangers" throw in red cabbage and Spaetzle. Delicious.

I recently stayed at Grand Superior Lodge had the pleasure of dining in their restaurant for a few meals. Breakfast was my favorite! We sat out on the deck and enjoyed the beautiful view of lake superior. I had the Walleye Benedict and my husband had the honey ham and hash. Both were delicious! We also came in for dinner... More

We went to Splashing Rock for dinner the first night we arrived at Grand Superior Lodge (for our honeymoon) and were extremely dissatisfied with everything. The restaurant was pretty slow (5-6 tables while we were there) but we had very slow service. There were dirty dishes literally everywhere. I ordered fettuccine alfredo with grilled chicken and a side salad. My... More
