I have ate at slipperys a number of times, even pulling the boat up to their dock. The food is typical bar food, but it is plentiful and good. Substitute the fries for slippery spuds with cheese.

My wife and I didn't eat here, but as we watched food being served we wished we had one more night to do so. We had a couple of drinks, and noted nearly all the patrons were local and knew each other. Simply a nice place to gather with a fun atmosphere. Staff was friendly and efficient - and we...

Great broiled walleye and a table by the windows with a view of the Mississippi. How fun it would be in the summer.
We came here because of Grumpy Old Men. We loved the movie and new about the restaurant. The food prices were a little high but not awful plus the tax was already included. The food was delicious and the spuds were amazing. We ordered root beer which was brought to us in cold mugs. I thought this was awesome and...

I went to Slippery's tonight to watch the Packer Viking game, and what a great time. Met the owners, Steve and Mary, and had a nice conversation with them. If you have not been there recently, do not be influenced by the negative reviews. It is a great place, with tasty food, good drinks and a wonderful staff . Treat...

This is the second time I have been to Slipperys. I attended a wedding here during the summer of 2012 and more recently a work's party. All I can say is that if I had been paying for the awful food they serve here I would have felt cheated. Basically it is mass produced frozen food that is re-heated and...

They have a very nice out door seating area. The view of the river is superb and the "Grumpy Old Men" gift shop is a hoot. The food and service was good.
The food is ok and the beer/ alcohol prices are a little high considering its such a small town. Service was fine considering we had such a large group
Food was good; ribs had a good mildly spicy sauce; grilled walleye was tasty; service was good; it was a Thursday night and few people were there. It was also dark, so we couldn't see the river. Then again, we'd spent the whole day enjoying the river scenery.
Being a love of the "Grumpy Old Men" movies and eagle-watcher, this is the perfect place for me! The food was great--please try the slippery potatoes--and the service was fantastic! And, you get to watch the videos while you're dining, experiencing the ambience, and searching for eagles!
