Awesome food! I love Babalu. This is one of my favorite restaurants. I wish I lived closer to it, though. Also, it is set in a great environment. Get the guacamole!!

The guacamole here keeps me coming back year after year! We had a coupon for free salsa which was excellent too, but their guacamole, made tableside, is a favorite!

We started with the queso which was delicious. My wife and I share carnito tacos and iron steak tacos, both were excellent. By all means you have to try the cinniman bread pudding with a spiked cream, it was truly amazing. Atmosphere and service were excelent. The entire experience was great.

This was our first time to Babalu, and it was fabulous! We ordered the table side guac, and it was delicious. It had a unique flavor that we couldn't put our finger on. It was wonderful. Then, we had 3 tacos each. The barbacoa taco was out of this world! Great service, great environment, and amazing food. Definitely try it!

My husband and I are locals, and this was our third "date night" attempt to get a table here. We finally settled for Saturday lunch. Our waiter , Josh gave us great service, and lots of help finding just the right craft beer and taco sampler. The guac dip, fixed at our table was really good. We'll be back.

Atmosphere about avarage for a Mexican Restaurant. Service was OK (good but not exceptional) - Food was better than average - but HUGE portions. All 4 of us are big eaters and all of us took food home - enough for a full 2nd meal. In summary: worth future visits.
