We found Rooster's on TripAdvisor as we were traveling from Florida back home to Oklahoma. It was well worth the stop! So delicious! All six of us are now fans!

Was in Jackson the last of Jan. and tried out Roosters. If you want an overpriced Hamburger then this place is for you. Normal Hamburger nothing special, we had two hamburgers, french fries, onion rings and one tea for $24.00 and change. Someone with us had the Jalp. This is a great place to have lunch. The hamburger steak meal is superb. So is everything else on the menu mind. Very popular place for local workforce in surrounding area.

Burger and grilled chicken was great. We took other reviewers advice and had the jalapeño-cheddar buns. Double yum! Must have been an off night for the onion rings, though, they were dry and tasteless. I'd be willing to try them again because others have raved over them.

The wait was a little longer than I would have liked, but great food. The only compliant I have, which is not really a complaint, is that the bun was a little soggy..... I do take my burger with condiments, so probably not the fault of the staff at roosters

Man, this is deep fried southern at it's best. I should know. I was raised on it and cook it myself every chance I get. These people understand how to bread and fry chicken, steak, and onion rings.
