The food is very good, the service was very good. The decor is Texas Ranch themed, very comfortable and inviting. The beverage glasses are very large, and the waitress is eager to refill them (no extra charge). We all ordered something different and tried each other's food. Everything was tasty.

Longhorns is always a winner. The drinks, steaks and staff are always predictable - above average! Even when you walk in the door 15 mins before they close, you still get great service! I will visit Longhorns in Southaven, MS everytime I'm there for business.

The evening started out well with a very nice waitress who took our orders and even remembered my request for "no tomatoes" on the salad. I had a good meal here and a good server. I had just eaten at a longhorn in another city and that meal was awesome. This was good but just missed from my other exp.

This place has great food, if it's a good night. You will get great food and service one night, and go back the next week to get poor food and service. I give it 4 stars because it is usually pretty good. I would say about 1 out of every 4 to 5 times there is a bad experience.

We stopped by on the way back from Tunica for a quick bite. The margaritas were acceptable. I had the French onion soup, which was great. I just had the appitizer wild west shrimp. It was okay. I would stop by again.

Our meal took a long time to arrive on a Monday night. Service was slow and we didn't see our waiter for extended periods. When our steaks came they were well prepared. I had heard good things about this chain but this location was smaller than I expected.
