We ate breakfast at Cafe Sol almost every morning during our stay in Troncones. The first time we went, it was because it was close to Tres Mujeres, where we were staying. The next few visits were strictly because of the food. The downstairs portion of Cafe Sol is the breakfast spot, with upstairs dedicated to their bar and dinner... More

Fabulous pizza, salads, drinks, and atmosphere in a quaint town in Mexico - Troncones! They also serve icecream there!

good breakfasts, fun roof top bar, greeat place to connect with other tourists and find out what people are doing. They also have a book lending shelf here, where you can trade your read up book for a new (used) one. Place to go to watch sports and the super-bowl.

Good breakfasts and lunch down stairs. They make their own bread which is excellent. Upstairs is a "cheers" type bar. If you like to watch sports...perfect. Too loud for me, though. Very good pizzas.

Great restaurant for breakfast and dinner, featuring pizza, fish, Mexican favorites. Plus a large selection of books that guests can borrow during their stay. A television upstairs for sports fans.

Cafe Sol had a wonderful portobello burger and vegetarian lasagna! A good vegetarian meal can be hard to find in a small Mexican town. We were happy to find Cafe Sol.

I am a taco snob. I love their tacos. Wished the fish ones had the special fish taco sauce (spicy and creamy) but really, who cares? Everything was so fresh and tasty.

From the outside, this place seemed "hit or miss". It was a big "hit". Excellent food and drinks. Far above what I expected for such a small town. Wood pizza oven, wood grill. Excellent.
