I was in town on business and one of the locals took me here for lunch. The sandwich I had was among the best ive eaten. I really liked the old school decor too. It made me feel at home, I guess I'm a little old school myself.

Had a meeting with a local supplier in the area, he took us here for lunch. The second you entered, the first word that comes to mind is "WOW!" You are transported instantly back into time. We grabbed a seat near the window and service was prompt and friendly. I ordered the French dip with shrimp corn chowder. While we... More

I have to stop by every time I'm in town. The food is good, the music is great, and you won't find a friendlier staff. A place where 'everybody knows your name'! The cheesecake is home-made and original recipe - delicious!

Magoon's Deli is a great place for a super sandwich. The staff and owner always treat you like old friends. Famous for serving Magoon's 1918 Chili recipe - delicious. Louie makes a great Reuben sandwich, my favorite, but all the sandwiches get great reviews from locals. The music starts Tuesday nights with an Open Jam, sometimes with a guest artist... More

Back in the day charm, with here and now atmosphere.... Lunch is always DELISH, the cook really knows what he is doing and can BLOW your mind with sandwiches and fixin's. He still makes Old Man Magoon's Chili just the same as its been made for years upon years and the Dr. Brown's takes you back home again!! Live music... More

I had my first pastrami sandwich here. Came with my mom when I was probably 3. First Reuben, first Dr. Brown's soda. Is it the same? No. Benny Magoon and Mrs. M. are long gone, olav ha-shalom, and their sons don't want to run this place. The pastrami is no longer house made. Beyond that, however, the hard red booths... More

I don't go there very often, but every time i have, i enjoyed it. Friendly people, good music, and nice employees. I do, however, order take out sandwhiches often) The meat and the bread always taste so fresh, and they are large enough that i save part for the next day.
