Great huckleberry flapjacks. Great service. Interesting old time decor to view inside building. These are the places to eat at instead of the food chains. Great menu selection.
The Libby Café is THE place for breakfast in Libby. I started coming to Libby 20+ years ago and the Libby Café has not changed in all of those years. Great Montana food, biscuits and gravy, chicken fried steak, huckleberry flapjacks, etc. and a REALLY friendly staff. DO NOT MISS THIS ON YOUR TRIP TO LIBBY.
Great way to take in some local hometown atmosphere. Food was good, plentiful and waitress was super friendly. I thought the prices were typical and reasonable for the quality and portions.
We have eaten at LIbby Cafe a few times. The food is tasty, fresh and the portions are large. The price is a bit high for some items but overall, we enjoy stopping there.
Had the huckleberry hotcakes, NICE......2 fill the plate hot cakes that had that sourdough kinda taste (that I love) in a cafe that has been around for ever.....with home made pies and cinnamon rolls that just melt in your mouth. Service from the gals is very good, with conversation that is what I remember the way the 'cafe' experience used... More
Great breakfast morning before or day after hitting up Turner Mountain. The staff was friendly, kept us and herself smiling with stories and the most excellent cakes. I had the the famous duo, one huckleberry and one potatoe, along with the homemade (most everything is homemade) syrups it was a great way to forget about my sore legs.
After living in Libby for a few months and hearing good reviews of this cafe I decided to visit with my fiancee. The interior is very atmospheric, with lots of old-time decor adorning the walls. Despite being rather full of customers, it wasn't really noisy, which I would attribute to there being two main dining areas separated by half-glass wall.... More
I enjoyed breakfasts in the place for years, but one day i heard that a particular waitress was fired for no good reason. I've never been back, Several "regulars"" quit going for a while and would gather at another good restaurant. But they went back eventually. I will not.
We asked a local where to eat and they directed us here. My husbands breakfast was very good but the other 3 ordered lunch. I ordered a "small" french dip and the au jus was in edible, so salty and needed to be watered down. The french fried were terrible as they needed to change the oil in their fryers... More
This is a small cafe only open for breakfast and lunch. We like to have breakfast here about once a month. I don't think I've ever had something I didn't like. Huckleberry flapjacks are delicious. The triple chocolate pie is also awesome.
