Wow! It was a pleasure to find an authentic Spanish restaurant. This is a place to go for a special meal as it would cost $$$. We wanted to celebrate the last day of our ten day trip with a memorable meal and it was one: Gazpacho soup, Spinach salad and Paella with excellent Spanish wine. Friendly service.

While visiting Yellowstone National Park, we stayed in West Yellowstone, MT. What a delight to find this restaurant hidden away in this unlikely location. The food is authentic Spanish tapas and brought back great memories of a trip to Madrid. Of course, since the owner/cook is a Madrileño (native of Madrid) taught to cook by her abuela (grandmother), what did... More

We shared and enjoyed the Owner/Chef's favorites, and absolutely enjoyed the entire experience! Cafe Madriz serves authentic Spanish recipes--from the owner/chef's grandmother's recipes from Spain. In particular, I loved the spinach salad with goat cheese and bacon (Ensalas de Espinacus), the garlic shrimp (gambas al ajillo), and paella. The names were foreign to me, but between the menu and the... More

Still searching for an outstanding food experience in West Yellowstone, our third attempt to catch the restaurant during open hours (open at 5 p.m., but not on Sundays, at least at this point in the season), we finally made it in to dine on Tapas and homemade Sangria at Cafe Madriz. Worth the wait! The Sangria was among the best... More

They serve dishes that are meant to be shared. So go with your family or friends. You order something, eat it, then order something else and keep going. It's a lot of fun. The place is pleasant, food is tasty, and they treat you like you own the place. Prices are good too. Make sure you try this when you... More

We stayed in West Yellowstone for 3 nights and found this little restaurant through Trip Advisor. Originally not expecting too much in a touristy town that is more a "overnight" town, this restaurant was a great surprise. Having been to Spain several times I can attest that the food here was not only traditional Spanish but also one of the... More

We found this small family run cafe by checking the Yelp. Surprisingly it was almost full when we got there at dinner time. We ordered two tapas: garlic mushroom and meat ball. Both are delicious. Our paella (seafood rice) for 2 can actually feed 4. It was a little bit dry but still very good.. We were very satisfied when... More

I don't normally go for places that serve appetizer size meals only, but my husband had heard what great food there was here, so we decided to try it. We were on a schedule, trying to make a show that night, but it wasn't a problem. The owner opened her locked door to let us come in and make a... More

Has a meal of tapas- manchego cheese with almonds and grapes; chorizo; tortilla (almost as good as my Spanish grandma's); shrimp with garlic (could have used less red pepper); calamari and a complimentary gazpacho appetizer was tasty. The staff is friendly and helpful to the many foreign tourists who were there during our dinner. Dinner for 3 with beer was about... More
