My husband asked me what I wanted for Mother's Day. I said I wanted baked stuffed lobster. He called around and several restaurants were booked or overly expensive. I said I remembered going to Ashworth by the Sea about 15 years ago. He called and they said it wasn't on the menu, but they would be happy to make it... More

Stayed at the hotel for a few nights and had a few meals here. For a quick summary, the food is over-priced, the wine list is of low quality and over-priced and expect the food to come out late. Our first meal consisted of a hamburger, fish-n-chips, and chicken fingers (three people). The food came out late, after the server... More

The food was "ok", the seating selection was TERRIBLE, the place was empty yet they sat us next to the waitress station where they emptied the trash while we where eating. I had to ask the staff to please stop consolidating their ketchup bottles, tap tap tap tap tap tap tap, is what we had to listen to until I... More

Nice, relaxed, comfortable. Good service and good food. Right on the beach. The Lobster Mac And Cheese is unique.

We stopped in for lunch at this restaurant. It was during the off-season, and there was only one other table of people in the restaurant. There was a total of 6 of us for lunch. 4 out of 6 of us ordered salads. Unfortunately, we ended up waiting an hour and 15 minutes to be served. Fortunately, when we got... More

This restaurant is in the Ashworth Hotel. This is our fourth time here. The food and service have been consistently good. This time I had steak tips and my wife had a boiled dinner. The waitress was pleasant and prompt. We sat next to a nice cozy gas fired fire place. Both meals were good and we split a brownie... More

The restaurant/bar was very busy on an off-season Saturday night. During the high season reservations are highly recommended. Lighting was subdued but adequate. Tables were nicely set. The menu has a small selection and there were specials so the choices were adequate. The wait staff was friendly and seemed very busy. Food delivery was paced great so you weren't hurried... More

I stayed at the ashworth for two nights this past weekend. Friday 3/8 my girlfriend and i checked in with the polite front desk staff and after settling in we headed to the breakers restaurant to have dinner and drinks. A polite hostess Veronica showed us our table then served us after warning us she had never served before. It... More

This was overall a good experience but the restaurant had a strange layout. When you walked all the way over to the other side of the restaurant (to go to the bathroom you have to leave the restaurant and enter the hotel). Our server seemed a little frazzled and made a mistake on our drinks and our food, but she... More

Stayed at the Ashworth and ate twice at Breakers - great food, hald price apps and $2 beers during Happy Hour, and twin lobster special at $19 - a top notch establishment on the main drag in Hampton, across from the beach
