Kotobuki is our favorite sushi spot. The food is always fresh and the service its good. The restaurant doesn't take reservations and is pretty small - but worth the wait.

The food is really good. Tables slightly too close to each other but since they are so busy they try to squeeze in more people. Food really worth travelling for and Babylon is lovely little town. Very good rolls but all the other dishes also amazing and worth trying, one time is definitively not enough!
Kotobuki was the place to go in Babylon for many years. With Fancy Lee now open there is a place with as good food but less "tight" Kotobuki seating is very tight and crowded. Not a good place for an intimate date/dinner with spouse or significant other. The Sushi is awesome though and always fresh.
This place is the best. Food is absolutely the best sushi on long island. You will have to wait no doubt but it is worth it.
Food was good, but they pack you in like sardines (no pun). You eat right on top of another table. So the atmosphere and service were not that great....
We've dined at Kotobuki in Babylon for the last ten years. Its our special place to celebrate birthdays, etc. The sushi and rolls are always delicious. My husband prefers his food to be 'cooked' and usually orders the Special Combo. Its a sampling of rolls, tempura, gyoza and teriyaki. He thoroughly enjoys his meal.
Service is quick, professional and friendly....

Always a go-to when it comes to sushi on Long Island. I've been here several times and the food is always amazing. The sushi is incredibly fresh and service is superb, in a beautiful atmosphere! Definitely worth stopping in if you're a sushi fan!
I'm very suspect of where I eat sushi, and to be quite honest I never eat anywhere outside of Manhattan. This place was amazing- went there with a bunch of folks for a birthday party and had quite a meal. Especially great were the softshelled crab rolls- the fried oysters were off the charts.
The restaurant was recently renovated and it is one of the best Asian cuisine restaurants in the village, maybe even the best. The restaurant is very clean, the service is professional and friendly and the food AMAZING and always fresh. It can get very busy during the weekends expecially at dinner time. PS: If you order "to go" you normally...

Kotobuki is a great sushi place. All others are compared to this place where ever I go for sushi. Havn't found a better tasting sushi anywhere. even on the Oasis of the Sea cruise ship.
