When I entered for coffee a few weeks ago, there were new owners of this Market Street shop, and the décor had changed from my last visit…pleasantly I may add! So to, had the “bill of fare”…breakfast crepes, lunch crepes, and more…! I was greeted by three friendly folks, struck up a conversation, and the rest is history. Since then,... More

We chose this restaurant because of the Trip Advisor rating. Thank you!! My husband and I had lunch crepes. He had Mediterranean Chicken and I had Mexican Chicken. His was much more falvorful but both were good. The owner gave us samples of the salty cho choc chip cookies and we bought all the remaining ones in the store. Amazing,... More

In celebration of Mother's day, my family and I had lunch at the Market Street Brewing Co. and noted the Poppleton Pastries name referenced on their menu, so we had to stop in there after lunch, as it was just a short walk down the street. I was SO excited to see Bubble Tea on the menu (it was perfect-... More

We had to stop by Poppleton Pastries, not only because of of it's number one rating on trip advisor, but it's also my wife's maiden name and we were intrigued. We tried to stop for dinner in the eve on the way to Rochester, but alas it was closed. So we stopped in for lunch on our trip home. The... More

We stumbled upon this during Corning Glassfest in May 2012. Oh my word....the blueberry scones are outrageously good. Cafe atmosphere, off the square. Does a hefty business and I could see why. The owner is present as are most of her family helping out in the kitchen and counter. Dark chocolate pastries seem to be her forte! I had a... More

I don't do coffee and wanted a hot chocolate. They have drinking chocolate which was made with real chocolate and not the powder stuff. The homemade neopolitan marshmellow was as big as the cup. Will get it again.

We LOVED the desserts here. Only disappointed that it was the middle of the afternoon, and we didn't have room for a meal as well! Lots of choices, all of them delicous!!!

Happened upon this place while visiting Corning recently. On a chilly morning this little place was very inviting. They have a nice selection of pastries and luncheon fare. Soups, salads, sandwiches and quiche to satisfy any taste. Keep room for the desserts. They are dangerously good.

Stopped by Poppleton's while visiting wine country. We had spinach quiche, a blueberry scone, and coffee. Everything was delicious. The shop is really nicely decorated and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

It was awesome!!! we also bought some cupcakes and a Drink with Half drinking chocolate (ie amazing hot chocolate) and half coffee. Everything we tried was great. Only wish we lived closer so that we could come back often. This is a great... More
