I have been to Rene's several times over the years since it opened. The service has always been friendly the decor rustic, and the food plentiful. However, its clientele trends toward the elderly and over time its menu has become less adventurous and more middle-of-the-road. Great, if that's what you're looking for, but less exciting if you want to experience... More

“Great Homey Diner”

Good food, reasonably priced, felicitously served. Friendly servers, delivering comfort foods in quick-time, this appears to be a converted somebody's home, and this ambiance flows through the experience. Very nice. Will return.
