My wife and I took my parents out for an early Mother's day meal. My parents live in Northern NJ and eat out 2-3 nights a week both in NJ and in NYC and my wife and I worked in high end restaurants when we were younger and lived in Hoboken. The server was friendly, polite, quick yet not pushy,... More

I ordered the steak and it wasn't too fresh. Had a bad taste to it. It's a small place and service is not too friendly.

We really enjoyed the food which is clearly the primary focus of the establishment. Starting with very tasty asian dumplings and a well balanced squash soup (could be a little easier on the sweetness perhaps), we both ordered the steak. They have different cuts, we selected 10oz, mine with an additional lobster tail and this was some of the best... More

The highly anticipated reopening of our favorite restaurant Ship to Shore did not let us down! As expected, the food and service was great. What a unique idea- turn back the clocks to 1998, with prices to match! Chef / Owner Samir and his wife Sarah renovated the restaurant to a more modern taste, while at the same time keeping... More

I was told that absolutely no substitutions could be made, even if all I was asking was for pasta to be served with olive oil instead of seafood broth. Nor could they throw a bit of vegetables in the plain pasta with tomato sauce I was forced to order (I'm lactose intolerant and a vegetarian). His line was " i... More

The food is consistently delicious. Atmosphere is not always the best. My husband and I went there for an anniversary "romantic" dinner and they put us in a brightly lit side room with just ourselves and a manager and an accountant who were loudly going over the books at the table right next to us. There wasn't even any music... More

My husband and I went to this restaurant after buying a gift certificate on line. This is how we always try new places. It is a very cozy small restaurant inside, we sat right by the window in a very sweet table for two. The bread that was served was delicious!!! For an appetizer, we had the tuna taco stack... More

Super chilly January night...perfect ending to a cold day on Hunter Mountain. It was my husbands birthday so he opted for the 16oz dry aged steak. Cooked to perfection. Accompanied with delicious mashed potatoes. I had the risotto special with filet tips, peas and kale. Sooo yummy. We also had the calamari app. Fried to perfection. Not greasy or chewy... More

The best of just about everything, especially soups, steaks, sea food and the innovative specials that the chef/owner, Samir Hrichi, creates. Service has always been the best and the ambiance can't be beat. Not to be missed!!
