“Decent hotel in Lalibela”

The location is fine. The rooms were clean and the shower was warm. We did not eat there as our guide was not welcome to join us and we were told that the food was not so good. The breakfast was bad though. The man at the reception was very friendly. The staff at breakfast not really.

Extra points given because there are not a lot of acceptable hotels in this town. This is one of them. There was no electricity the first day and no hot water the second. We ordered a set menu which turned out to have no selection except pasta and chicken. Much to our regret we ordered Tomato soup for starter and Chicken Cutlets, main meal.
