We were in Montauk during the off-season and weren't sure where to eat so chose MTK based on the location & past reviews. Upon walking in the back entrance (where the beer garden is when it's warm I guess) we were not expecting much. It is small with old decor. But, we were pleasantly surprised! From the sweet and friendly staff to the fabulous food and the great photographs on the walls, MTK Cafe is always a lovely place to dine in Montauk. The food is always fresh (both the fries and the granola with yogurt and strawberries can't be beat) and the people who run this wonderful place are the best.

Love the staff and their pancakes :) I must say the burgers there are over the top. We stop there eerytime we go to Montauk, it's our ritual. Can't go to Montuk Manor wihtout stopping there first for their breakfast. Thanks, Montauk Cafe another two satisfied customers.

My husband enjoyed his breakfast but I wasn't impressed. My pancakes (something called like irresistible banana pancakes) were edible but nothing to rave about. Very small diner - bathroom felt like a port-a-potty. Waitstaff was fine.

Nice breakfast menu with different eggs and pancakes. Nice staff. Good location in the heart of Montauk.

This is our favorite breakfast place. The food is excellent, and the service is super fast.We have also had lunch and it too, was excellent. Sit outside and watch the town come alive. You will not be disappointed with this one.

Good food, friendly & we didn't need a reservation - but we only went for brunch. Nice waitress. Right in town.

The staff at MTK Cafe wants respect and they deserve it! The food here is excellent and the staff is great. Our family was in the middle of a ping pong game trying to kill time while the food cooked. Our food came out so quickly that the kids were disappointed they couldn't finish their game!
