I had dinner and a beer at this joint once a week for four years, loved it every time. Great food, good beers on tap and the staff are great. It can get crowded on the weekend, but the perfect weeknight spot.

beer /music/ if your young and want to have a good time stop by this little local spot in the heart of port jeff ny
Billie's is a local dump but could be a charming dive bar if the staff and manager knew how to treat customers. We were ignored for the first 20 minutes of our visit. We were a party of four and the place wasn't too crowded (probably because of the discourteous hired help and management). We waited forever for our meals...

Whether you are a Long Islander or a visitor, you will be pleased by Port Jefferson's version of "Cheers" when you enter Billie's. Because Port Jefferson is a charming village located at Port Jefferson harbor - where ferries run regularly between this eastern Long Island location and Bridgeport, Connecticut - tourist traffic is always a variable when dining in P.J....

The food is ok (you can get a pretty good hot open sandwich with fries) and the beer is
cold. Happy hour is on Billie's time and when you go for an early dinner you see everyone

Trashy place, terrible food. High school reunion. Dirty, but with none of the charm of a "dive bar." Inconsistent pricing, rude staff, place is packed way too tight. Needs a visit from the fire marshall on a weekend.
Me and my family ate here when we took the ferry and it smelled awful and the food was ok. French onion soup was icky and potato skins and nachos were terrible as well! Awful place. Never going back!
We always stop there when in PJ. Have stopping in for over 20 years I think. Consistently good food and service. Bartenders are great! Treat you a local even if your not(like me). Decor is a little worn, but who cares.
good bar food, if eating be there before 7pm when the bar crowd floats in. good burgers and specials. decent prices.
We had dinner here on a Saturday night. Granted, we just wanted burgers, but they were very tasty and a great price. Seemed like a really fun atmosphere. We ate in the bar area. Lots of TVs with all sorts of sports on. We will be back!
