Go for the weekday lunch buffet. The flavors are good, the owners are nice, the place is cute, and it's only costs $10.

A couple miles outside of Rhinebeck proper, this unassuming building serves up wonderful flavors and carefully cooked food. The samosa is not to be missed at any meal at all. Service is excellent, atmosphere is warmly exotic with amber paper lanterns. This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Hudson Valley, regardless of ethnicity.

We were disappointed after reading all of the wonderful reviews. Maybe it was an off night. Service was poor and the food was OK. Nothing special. Space is nice and clean and the lamps are really cool. We will try again to see if this was just a bad night.
