Took my 5 year old granddaughter there just last week. The food was fresh, with fresh baked breads, muffins, good coffee, and fresh meals. The best part is especially when my granddaughter ordered pancakes, she got real maple syrup, not the imitation kind. It's a mom and daughter team and they really do a fantastic job. You can purchase the... More

The Chit Chat Cafe' is much bigger inside than it looks from the outside. The wait staff is SUPER friendly and the food is AMAZING. Its wonderful small town atmosphere is something that's hard to find and perfect for a leisurely breakfast.

Only open for breakfast, the Chit Chat Cafe serves over-the-top pancakes (carrot cake batter) and french toast (from-scratch cinnamon bread) and chocolate chai! My vegetable omelet was fabulous as well. Good thing I had all that protein, because I couldn't stop eating all the delicious carbohydrates! Our server made us feel right at home. Our food was delayed, but that... More

This little tiny diner-esque place is so charming, and the cinnamon raisin French toast (made with homemade bread) is to die for! The lovely ladies who run the place will make you feel right at home. Quick! Go to the Chit Chat and enjoy French toast bliss!

Anything made with their homemade breads is outstanding. Personal favorites include cinnamon french toast and monte cristo. Our son loves the grilled cheese. Simple but excellent. Small, but worth the wait.

Went to the chitchat café today for breakfast and the food was decent. Had the French toast, it was basic, not as much of the taste as I desire - very eggy and nothing unique or creative about it. The Place is always very busy and packed full of locals who know the owners by first name. While the service... More

It took 3 trips to this area to get to this place as the hours are very limited (7:30-1:00 Tues-Fri, 7:30-11:30 Sat) and we live 96 miles away (in town for concerts) but it was WELL worth the wait. Dream of delicious home made bread. Then add all the breakfast foods you love (omelettes, egg combos, egg sandwiches, frittatas, wraps,... More

There is one thing you can always count on at Chit Chat Cafe - warm inviting service and AMAZING home made breads and meals! The ambience is cozy and inviting. From the Carrot Cake Pancakes, to the Stuffed French Toast, and Monte Cristo Sandwich everything tastes divinely inspired. Parking can be a challenge, but don't let that deter you, it's... More

Good little country restaurant...but stick with the breakfasts, even at lunch. The ham and cheese was ok, but for the price, I should have had the French Toast like my wife did...it looked great and she really enjoyed it. Lunch ran us 20 bucks with tip for the two of us, so not inexpensive.
