Stopped in for a night cap on a Wednesday night and a quick beer on Friday afternoon. Service was good and it was noticeable more crowed on Friday when the whole town came to life with visitors. Friendly service, nice beer selection.

After spending the day driving the Blue Ridge Parkway, my husband and I stopped for the night in Blowing Rock, NC. While walking along Main Street, we happened upon the Six Pence Pub and decided to give it a try. It was a small restaurant and definitely filled with locals. We had to wait about 15 minutes for a table...

After reading all the great reviews we decided to give it a try. We were there for lunch and it was busy, I had a grilled chicken salad and my husband had the fish and chips. My salad was just average and his chips were barely warm, at a busy time you would think the chips would be fresh and...

Stopped in Blowing Rock for night and found 6 pence because there was a parking place in front and it was cold for a long walk! Happy we found it - food was good, service was excellent and atmosphere was delightful. Good UK pub food if you like that, but many other selections too. You will enjoy it - ck...

We ducked in out of the rain for a quick lunch!
It was a perfect day for soup and their onion soup was very good! Also had a pastrami sandwich and potato salad.. Both were very good although I am used to crusty NY rye so the bread lacked something.
My husband had a very good Gouda burger with great...

The best pub food in Blowing Rock. We spent part of the afternoon sitting on their patio enjoying clod beer and watching people walk by. Another day we had a great lunch (sandwiches and delicious sides). Nice central location on Blowing Rock's Main Street.
Went here had a great lunch at a good price. The service was good and the atmosphere was comfortable.
We stopped in at the Six Pence Pub after a day of sightseeing, The total space is somewhat small but it is cozy. We chose to sit in the bar just because it looked like a fun place. We had a very nice, knowledgeable server. They do have a wide selection of beer, however we did not taste them. We...
