This was my first visit to Charlotte and my friend wanted to take me places that weren't chain restaurants to eat. I am very glad that we went here. The buffalo egg rolls (appetizer) were delicious; I am not a bleu cheese fan, but these were so good I didn't even care that I was eating it. We went on... More

This place has horrible waitresses and poor management. Drunk "regulars" are loud and obnoxious and ruin the environment for everyone else. The staff does nothing to stop it. Sad because the food is decent.

I wish I could get the recipe for their handmade vegetarian burger, it is that good. My husband says their animal flesh burgers are also excellent. We've also enjoyed the hand breaded onion rings, homemade black bean and corn salsa, and their large variety of beers. This restaurant is located in the historic Elizabeth neighborhood so parking can be a... More

I had lunch with a work colleague. We were in a bit of a hurry but wanted to get a casual lunch. We both ordered a salad and were very happy with it. I had the avocado chicken salad with goat cheese and it was delicious. Casual laid back atmosphere, looks like might come alive at night. It was very... More

Nice in summer with outdoor seating, inside somewhat small. Mixed crowd from young to old. Can get busy at times as well. Service is usually pretty good.

Quite possibly the worst experience ever! There were 10 in our party, all of our food came out separately, silverware was filthy, napkins were stained, there was water in the salt, pepper & ketchup containers, the waitress argued with one of us after bringing the wrong entree, and we all sat with empty glasses. I spoke to the manager who... More

I was disappointed that it was nothing but standard bar food that was average at best. There are too many other good places to eat in the Elizabeth area to choose Jackalope's. I'm sure it is great atmosphere for a beer and nice to have something offered to put in your stomach, but don't expect anything extraordinary or remotely healthy.... More
