When you're in Durham, seek out this wonderful sandwich shop. The bread is fresh and interesting, and the sandwiches are creative and delicious. It's a small place and packed at lunchtime, so try to visit before or after lunch.

Yummy paninis and soup no too far from Duke. Fun funky vibe. Naxt to an awesome cupcake bakery for dessert.
I would like to think of myself as a pretty cultured person in terms of food, but eating here makes me feel like I know nothing of Italian food. The menu offers panini sandwiches, sandwiches on regular sanwich loaf bread with the edges cut off, bruschettas, and salads. I had to ask what several things on the menu were before...

There is a wait to get in an order and for good reason. These panini, etc are delicious. This is one of Durham's special places to eat.
I'm not one to try new food all that much. However I've never been disappointed here. I don't think twice about ordering something new, because everything I've tried has been great. I have my favorites, hot coppa, rapini & sweet Italian sausage are my two favorite panini. Soups and salads are fresh and very tasty.
You will not be disappointed....

Loads of Duke trendsters fill this sandwich spot. Very good panini and salads. Snag a table early as this place gets very busy.
Stopped while in downtown Durham. Great sandwiches, soups, and salads. Also a great selection of specialty sodas and beers. Very inexpensive as well!
Another local Durham restaurant that is excellent! I love the selection of Crostinis, Sandwiches and Salads. Everything is local and fresh. In the summer a nice place to sit outside and enjoy your lunch. It can be a little crowded inside, but that is only because it is so good and a local favorite.
My only disappointment...that this restaurant isn't open 24/7 for all my panini and crostini cravings.
I ordered a pannini with tuna and what came was a sandwich made from regular bread that had been fried. Very heavy- sits at the bottom of your stomach all day
