BBQ Joes has by far the best BBQ in this area. The waitstaff is friendly and very efficient. Great selection of items on the menu which offers a senior and kid's menu. Everything I ever ordered from the menu has been excellent. Food delivdered fast; almost like they knew you were coming and what you had ordered. Great flavor and... More

I really enjoy the Chipolte sauce (Joe's Sauce with some added spice) Usually, I'll get a chopped pork plate with green beans and tater tots. So much to eat, I can't eat all the hushpuppies!

BBQ Joes is SOMETIMES very good.. The Joe's sauce is the thick sweet BBQ sauce which I happen to like and is not available at many of the BBQ joints in the area. The ribs are meatier than some I've had, but still not enough meat for what you pay for them. They sometimes have turkey & dressing on special... More

This was my first time at Joe's. I was seated and served promptly. I got the Barbecue platter which included hush puppies and slaw. The Barbecue was very good, and the Joe's sauce was also quite tasty. The sauce on the table was different, but had an even better flavor and a bit of a kick to it. Most impressive... More

The pork was cooked okay. Had not been cleaned of fat and gristle very well. House sauce is very sweet. Cutting it a bit with hot sauce helps. Hush puppies can be a great compliment to a meal but these were just okay. Service and prices very good.

This is a hard one to review because taste for barbecue is so regional. I prefer the vinegar-pepper baste that I grew up with in Virginia, and the mustard base I am now used to inh SC so i am still trying to get used to North Carolina variation. I also had something they called barbecue slaw which was different... More

I have tried Joe's ribs, pork and beef barbeque. All are excellant as are their sides - potato salad, hush puppies and sweet potato side. Joe's sauces are a great complemnt to the BBQ. I have tried the top 4 BBQ places in the area and Joe's is the best. When I go to nascar races my friends from Chicago... More

If you have not eaten BBQ Joe's, you haven't had the best yet. BBQ's BBQ is not too slippery and not too dry. You won't find chunks of mystery pig in here. The Joe's style sauce is jusssst sweet enough without being overkill. If you need a caterer, by the way, see Big Joe! (Little Joe can help too). The... More

Best BBQ around. Five kinds of sauce! The Down Eastern sauce on the chopped BBQ pork is da bomb! "Course chop" pork is another great choice as it is hugh chunks of tenderloin! Pork and beef ribs are very good. Sides are great! Love the pinto beans! Great family place - no adult beverages - with friendly staff. Meatloaf special... More
