Spankies was so much fun. I had the pastrami ruben and it was to die for. The kids had footlong hotdogs and cheese fries. Ben the owner was the friendliest fastest talking person I met. Wish there was a spankies in Bertie!!!

We had to try this top-rated OBX restaurant, but were very disappointed. They focus on short orders, so if you want a full meal you should go elsewhere. Very friendly manager and servers, and a clean establishment. Our flounder sandwich had minimum fish and my BBQ was standard fare. Strongly recommend other nearby restaurants if you are looking for seafood.
