Everything is great. Be sure to try the NC Grouper, served only on Fridays. Family owned and operated. Rustic setting with no cell phones on.

Really. Mighty fine salads, too. Amore's nearly hides off the hwy between Cashiers and Brevard, but it's worth seeking out. Their pizzas are well crafted on thin, flavorful dough that is both crisp and tender - not an easy trick. Fresh is the byword here; their pesto is divine. Our favorite is their special: garlic parmesan cream, sun dried tomatoes,... More

Wonderful sandwiches and pizza here due to tasty bread baked on site; service is a little on the slow side when they are busy. Deli meats were also quite good, and pasta salad appeared to also be made fresh on site with tasty results! Carrot Cake was top notch as well. This was a very good dining experience.

A tiny cafe with a small menu - mostly pizzas and subs - but with 2 daily specials. My wife and I each had the excellent baked trout with rice and okra. Delicious. Be aware that they do not serve wine or beer, but they have wine glasses and you can bring your own or pick up a bottle at... More

It was a very busy time of the year so you must be willing to wait...it does not have many tables and it can get crowded so we sat outside. Yes even in the middle of the summer you can sit out as it is located in the mountains. Not much scenery as it is just off the road but... More

Amore Cafe is well worth driving out of your way to visit. We visited this past Saturday after going to the farmer's market in Brevard and were treated to a wonderful, fresh lunch. My husband ordered a huge turkey club sandwich that was loaded with a side of macaroni salad. I had one of their individual pizzas (the Amore I... More

Fantastic selection for a small place. Prices are good. Try to get out the door without any of the great pastries. Hard to do!!

If you could have your new best friend come over to your house and cook you the best supper you've had in a long time, that would be your experience here! Perfect steak--grassfed, Western beef served over homemade potato cake. Gravy-thick wild mushroom soup chock full of mushrooms. Home-like atmosphere. The locals stood up and testified to the old-fashioned bread... More

Pamela and the team at Amore Restaurant offers up both great lunches and dinners. The menu has a variety of standard fare, all I tried were well done, but they shine with the daily specials. Fresh ingredients, excellent meat and we've never been disappointed. Highway 64 is twisty at the restaurant location, so be careful not to miss it while... More

I'd been to Lake Toxaway several times, but never managed to eat at the Amore Cafe. Like many restaurants in the area, it is open for lunch, closes until 5:30ish, then serves supper until 8:00. This trip I was lucky enough to have both supper and lunch at Amore Cafe. I had roast beef and my niece got chicken parm.... More
