Food was good. Waiter was awesome. The buffet items were fresh, they refilled out items quickly. Nice place to spend a family evening out.

Fun little restaurant with a lot of memorabilia, antiques, and humorous signs hanging from the ceiling and on the walls. As per the title, all about this restaurant is good. My only qualifier, and this is largely a matter of personal taste, is that many of the buffet items, while plentiful and tasty, were salty and had a significant amount...

Love the variety of vegetables available on the buffet bar at Abele's. The salad and fruit bar offer a lot to choose from also. The meats and soups are good, too. The service is good, also.
This was once a Shoney's Restaurant and they changed the name but the restaurant kept it's charm. The have alot of old memorvilia and interesting signs to look at while you dine. It has kept it's soup, salad and hot bar from the old days and offers a meat item of your choice for only .30 more to go with the...

Loved the decor as we are old "stuff" collectors. Extra friendly staff, very clean, buffet was FRESH. All was good....except no meat on buffet for sunday dinner. Not even fried chicken and being in the south.....that is a must!! Overall, an excellent place to eat and very reasonable.
I love eating at this place, but it does get very busy. Staff is pleasant and food is tasty and plentiful. Decorations are signs that will give you a chuckle and lots to agree with. They are going to be moving down the road to a larger place, according to one of the staff. Hopefully a local will update as...

Well...it's your own fault.
Order off the menu if you want one of dozens of well-cooked items such as burgers, steak, and chicken dishes---
Better still, eat from the unlimited salad, soup, southern-cooked veggies and fruit bar...Notable for the variety and quality! Greens, mac and cheese, cornbread, beans, fried squash, okra, biscuits, on ... and ... on......
There's also a...

We were looking for something to other than from a food chain and we came across this place in our travels. They have a menu items but they also have a salad bar along with a hot food bar and a dessert bar. Normally they have meat on their bar but it was Sunday and you can get a meat...

Driving through, wanted some country cooking. large soup/salad/hot veggie/fruit bar add a meat off menu. We both ate for less than $20.. plenty of cute signs hanging around to read...would go back again on way through next time.
Not the place to go if you like a clean restaurant and quality food. This place is an overweight rednecks heaven.
