The Brine and Bottle is certainly worth the trip if you love gourmet, unique presentations of food. It was casual yet upscale dining. My husband ordered the shrimp and grits, said it was the best. I ordered soup-the best asparagus soup Ive had- and a mozzarella appetizer. We just loved the ambience-beautiful view of the sound!

The Brine and Bottle is my favorite in Nags Head. Though the menu is limited, the preparation is excellent. We started with the fried pickles, then my wife enjoyed the beef tenderloin while I had shrimp and grits. Great choices.

Intimate setting with a polished casual feel overlooking the water. We had the fried pickles and they were quite tasty. Portions were small in size but that allowed us to try more things. The pineapple cobbler is a must have. Great music and good service made this place a keeper.
