We like to go to MJ's for shrimp po'boys and crab cake sandwiches. Cool spot, but kinda on the small side. Their seafood entrees also seem a bit over priced. I've never ordered them because of that.

Local oysters on the half shell! Start with a dozen. Then the crab cakes are to die for. No filler just lightly fried fresh crab meat and spices. Home made salad dressing - try the fried Mac &cheese bits. Local food local flavor - I'll be back.

Ate there twice and great each time. Just want I wanted in a RAW BAR. Good food, drink and fun people all around. Would recommend to all!

We ate at MJ'S twice while in New Bern. The hamburgers were very good and only $5.99 on Wednesday. The service was good and we were able to eat outside. We will definitely go back when in the area.

I had a burger, and it was a typical burger. Our server also was working back in the kitchen, so she wasn't the most attentive, but she did a great job for dividing all of her duties.

This was a noisy, but friendly place (all of New Bern is friendly, by the way). I had a nice, but not special salad. My husband had fish & chips and liked it.
