We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Frogs Leap and you would be hard pressed to find a better restaurant in Waynesville, let along Atlanta or Charlotte. The food from start to finish was great. We started with a soup that was out of this world and a very tasty cheese plate. That was followed by some excellently prepared trout and... More

We ate at this restaurant tonight and the food was excellent! Unfortunately, we didn't think we would need reservations so we ended up having to sit in the bar area, but it actually turned out to be a really pleasant experience. Our waitress, Judi, was superb and the the food was delicious! The restaurant's atmosphere was really nice too! Well,... More

An excellent dining experience. Local fresh products and a chef with an eye for southern cuisine with a bit of flair.

The meal began with the most delicious sweet potato butter I have ever eaten, followed by Meatloaf, mac and cheese, and collard greens to die for. Everything was expertly prepared and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere has a nod to the rustic heritage of Haywood County.

I highly recommend the dates wrapped in bacon and stuffed with blue cheese. I had the duck confit and my husband had the trout. Both were delicious. We'd dine here again.

We had a Saturday , 6pm reservation. We were seated at a table for 2, that was near the computer and water service. We were worried about noise and distraction. We asked to be reseated and were denied. Nicely handled but denied. We prepared ourselves for a horrible evening and were pleasantly surprised that the drinks, hush puppies, blue cheese... More

We walked past Frog's Leap the night before and noted that it was packed with customers. So we decided to go on another day for a late lunch when it wasn't crowded. Previous reviewers had described the grilled meat loaf, and my husband was very happy with that choice. It was topped with a homemade tomato jam, which was also... More

What a great restaurant. We heard from so many people how great it was so we had to give it a try. The Parmesan Truffle fries were fantastic. The fried pickles were fair. I'd prefer dill over sweet. I had soup and salad. My hubby had the pork chop. Very good. Will be back!
