This restaurant sounded interesting; however, it is now a Mediterranean-style restaurant that just opened.
After reading multiple reviews and unable to get a seat at a nearby restaurant we tried Dioli's. The front dining area is charming however it was full so they seated us in the upstairs section which has views of the top tier entrances and balconies for the next door theater. This area is too brightly lit and doesn't have the... More
I was struggling to find a new restaurant for my anniversary until my boss suggested this one. It was a big hit. My wife loved the martinis and lasagna and I enjoyed the chicken parm. The service was excellent although partly because it was a quiet weeknight. Unlike some restaurants where you have to yell to be heard, Diolis allowed... More
I really wanted to like this place. It's convenient to downtown and they make their own pasta. Unfortunately, it was only average. Spaghetti and meatballs is my standard order when I try a new Italian restaurant. In this case, the order was good but not spectacular. I also tried the carbonara, which was far too salty for my taste. It... More
After a long day at the furniture market we wanted some great Italian with excellent sauces and home made pasta. We found it and enjoyed it. Fettuccine Alfredo and rabbit mushrooms and fettuccine were all excellent. Service was outstanding as well. If your in the mood for Italian try this small excellent restaurant.
We really enjoyed every dish that we had! My only disappointment was that there was SO much pesto (never knew that was possible!!) that it made the meal almost too rich to eat. Wish I had added chicken to cut the richness. Otherwise fantastic...though our server seemed "checked out."
We had the grilled pork chops. The pork was perfectly cooked - not at all dry. The homemade pasta was yummy. Loved the atmosphere. The waitress was busy but checked in with us several times. The panda cotta with caramel sauce was melt in the mouth delicious.
My family dined here prior to heading upstairs to see the Nutcracker. The restaurant was very pretty and definitely set a nice stage prior to the ballet. I could almost believe I was in NYC. The food was good, nothing outstanding, but nothing to complain about. We ordered the rabbit ragu and swordfish entrees. Both were good. We had wonderful... More
Traditional Italian place with yummy options for everyone. Kids enjoyed pastas and I loved the tomato/mozzarella salad and mushroom risotto. Everything is cooked from scratch and tastes awesome. Service was great, too.
I am a huge Italian fan. I would eat Italian every night and never grow weary. Dioli's gets so much right. Love: homemade pasta; spinach salad; caesar salad; flourless chocolate cake; after dinner Godiva Coffee Not so much: dried breadsticks instead of bread; meatballs (too heavy on the parsley) that weren't cooked in the sauce; not having drinks refilled. I'm... More
