The atmosphere here was great. Ordered the chicken which was pretty good and husband ordered the bison and scallops--he thought the scallops were really good but only got a couple crumbs or the bison and there was nothing else to accompany the dish. We shared a cheaper bottle of wine and the bill was over $100.

Always a fun place to meet with friends. The food is good. The beer selection and mixed drinks are excellent!

While the downstairs of the "HoDo" is fairly well known, the roof of this downtown icon is even more interesting! You can catch an elevator up to the top of the building where there is a large jacuzzi, bar, and food service. It's a great way to enjoy a sunset in the summertime looking over Fargo's downtown streets and skyline.

A fantastic little upscale dining experience. Locally sourced natural ingredients, a rotating menu, and delicious food, beer, and great service. I couldn't have asked for much more out of my dinner.

Interesting food, nice presentation, but not worth the price. My husband hasn't had to take that much ante-acid in three years.

The food is awesome! It is so nice to stay in their hotel and have the first dinner in this restaurant. Everything we ordered was so tasty and the downtown views are charming. The wine list is quite good. Be sure to get reservations, although all tables are good. There is also a more casual restaurant on the Broadway side... More

If you want unique, chef-created food in Fargo, as far as i know this is the best place to get it. I had the duck sample plate. My friend at the lamb. But the chef is not just doing the usual stuff with these dishes; he's being creative. Decent beer tap selection (from the lounge). Good service. For a small... More

I've stayed in hotels the world over and rarely found one I like as well as the Hotel Donaldson (the HoDo.) I was given a night there for my 50th and, wow, what a room. Each room is decorated by a different local artist. We stayed in the Big Dog suite which is two stories tall and the whole Broadway... More
