We stopped here and enjoyed the food and the lovely visitors who are so willing to chat, while you enjoy your meal. Delicious sandwich and soup and decaf latte. Would definitely stop again on a future trip.

Stopped to get a coffee and a few treats which totalled $16.00. Should have kept driving. The girl at the counter didn't want to be there either. Not filled with local flair, it was like being in Toronto. Very stuffy. Go a little farther and get to Cheticamp and get the true Cabot trail experience. And to boot the Dancing...

I lived off the chicken/almond sandwich (which is HUGE), and even tried the breakfast one day, the chai lattes are better then most in Halifax. It's a busy place, but I've never really had to...

Stopped here late one night, had pastries and coffee, it was delicious. On the way out I bought a loaf of pumpkin bread and I was set for midnight snacks the rest of the week! If you stay in Cheticamp, seek this place out on your way back from a day trip to Baddeck, you won't be sorry.
We had a delicious lunch at this wonderful place today. The homemade mushroom soup was so tasty then add the chicken sandwich with almonds and tarragon mayo and you have perfection right there. We had two desserts to go, which were deliciously wicked too. The bakery side of the Dancing Goat offers a great selection of breads, scones and desserts,...

Fresh scones and coffee. Can it get any better! They had lots of good food on the menu and the shelves from their bakery. I tried two different scones and enjoyed them very much. The people working here was very nice and accommodating.
Their chicken sandwich with almonds and tarragon mayo is awesome and big enough for two. Looks like everything made from scratch.
The Dancing Goat has a great selection of homemade soups and sandwiches along with wonderful desserts. Yum.
During our recent stay in Cape Breton, we stopped at the Dancing Goat twice on the same day... First for breakfast on the way to Margaree Harbour from Baddeck (the section of the Cabot Trail we had not done, since we started in Cheticamp and ended in Baddeck) and on the way back for a late lunch. Very busy, this...
