Having discovered a love for all things Thai after travelling to Thailand I am always on the lookout for great Thai food. And what an unexpected find in Ajijic, Mexico! The food was wonderful - with just the right amount of spice (you can heat things up with a trio of spacey sauces if you prefer something spicier.) The location... More

Lovely garden setting and excellent service...generous portions but sadly, absolutely no flavor. It wasn't that it didn't having chili seasoning, unfortunately the meal lacked any flavor.

I've eaten great Thai food in New York City and Los Angeles and was pleasantly surprised to discover "Simply Thai" in Ajijic while on vacation. Excellent food and service, not to mention the nice Thai ambience and decor on their outdoor patio. An oasis and wonderful alternative to Mexican and Continental restaurants in town. And most important, more affordable than... More

We love Thai food - and the food here is excellent - when we get what we order. We are vegetarian and always specify when we order, no meat, no chicken. Inevitably, at least one dish comes with chicken or meat. The waiters are very good, and take it back, but it means that our meals is always disjointed. Pity.... More

We made a number of visits to Simply Thai and were never disappointed. All the food we had was excellent. Great Pad Thai, Yellow Curry and Fried rice to name a few. The restaurant has great ambiance and very good staff.

The food was quite good and the cook stopped by our table for a friendly visit to check on how we liked the dinner.

We like this place as a change of pace from Mexican food. I used to live in Thailand and have found this place to have authentic food although less spicy than Thailand. Ask them to kick it up a notch if you like spicy food. Portions are large, we often split them or bring some home. They are closed on... More

We asked new owner Kinna Bilvarn ,from California,to surprise us and put together a meal for four. Flavour, flavour ,flavour. We all loved the meal from appetizers,to soup ,main courses, and of course dessert. Favourites were the tom yum soup crispy s,drunken noodles, phad thai & the bannana dessert. We can attest that the growing pains are over and the New Simply Thai has... More

We decided to give Simply Thai another try because there is nowhere else to get pho and I am glad we did because the soup was very good this time. As with our previous visits though, there were some disapointments. We arrived early in the evening on a Sunday and ordered Thai Iced tea but the waiter said they were... More

I ate here 4 times in 3 days, and each time the food was delicious. I highly recommend the drunken noodles and tom yum soup. Especially the tom yum soup. Do not leave the restaurant without having some. Although it was odd to see pho, a Vietnamese soup, on a Thai restaurant menu, it was as good as everything else... More
