Turtle Bay has a nice gazebo with ceiling fans and decorative lighting. It is a nice atmosphere to dine in. We were there for breakfast. I had huervos ranchero, eggs with red sauce, cheese, pinto and black beans. My husband had the Turtle Bay Skillet, eggs with potatoes, poblano, tomatoes, avocado and herbed cream cheese. Delicious!

After three visits, in three days, we give this place two thumbs up. We have our kids in tow, so ice cream and pizza are a given. Homemade Chocolate habenro ice was great. Coconut shrimp and tempura shrimp tacos were very good. Go between 4-7 for half-priced tacos, flatbread pizza, and cheap drinks!

My husband and I have been to Akumal 5 times in the last 4 years! Turtle bay is a small quiet place tucked away a short walk from the beach. They have good food, a relaxing atmosphere and a good Bloody Mary (hard to come by around these parts). They also have a flat screen for you sports lovers in... More

Eaten here often during my internship. The food and Ice Cream are phenomenal. Try and branch out when traveling, and ask your server for suggestions. You travel to experience new things. So, try some of their tasty local recipes!

We had lunch at TBBC and we were delighted. I had their Angus burger (quite possibly the best burger I have ever had) and my wife had the fish sandwich (which she thought was amazing). Great setting under a palapa in the jungle. Incredible menu. We will definitely return on our next trip to Akumal.

The bakery is fairly good and they have homemade bread, which in Mexico is really hard to find, their sweets are not as good and could really use a cut on sugar (I think they oversweet by at least 30% of what actually needed)... The ice cream is also homemade and very good. The spot is great and the atmosphere... More

Spent a few hours snorkeling in Akumal and ate lunch here because it was highly rated in a guide book. We arrived and were not greeted by anyone working there. We were just about to leave because we figured everyone was on break. Some did approach us and ask if we wanted menus, we said yes and were seated. I... More
