We went here for dinner. Just us and later a second couple. The service was great. Crab starter was slightly too chilled. Steak main was fab, juicy and very tender. Melt in the mouth. Salted caramel ice cream sensational. Overall a great experience. Highly recommended.

Staying in Cowes for mine and my girlfriends anniversary. Went here for a meal. Booked just in case but was only us and another table . Gave it a very private and intimate atmosphere. Service was very good and friendly . Food was simple but well executed. Dessert a must . Ice cream was prefect. Wine list was large and... More

We love it here - visit regularly and never disappointed. Book to avoid disappointment as it is small with not many covers. Relaxed atmosphere, attentive staff - the bread and oil is always a lovely addition - not to mention the jelly beans at the end ! Fab place

Blink and you could miss Number 3. Tucked away near the Cowes waterfront, appears run by husband (in the kitchen) and wife (front of house). We had all fish. Starters of mackerel pate and crab mousse with prawns, main courses cod and sea bass. One rhubarb dessert (very good) and one cheese board, brie not ready to eat but stilton... More

My girlfriend and I had a delicious meal at Number 3 - we went on a Tuesday evening and although the restaurant lacked atmosphere (only 1 other table eating whilst we were there) we were not disappointed with the food. The restaurant does not currently have its own website, which slightly unnerved me, so we went on local recommendations. Our... More

When you first look through the menu you think there isn't much there. It's not a restaurant with dozens of choices for each course but what dishes are there cleverly hit the spot. There will be something you like and the benefit of a more limited choice is fresher ingredients. A husband and wife team both kitchen and front of... More

A small friendly restaurant with a seasonal fresh menu. Cowes is still so lovely as there are no chains, no Cafe Rogue Starbucks etc so recommendations go along way. The restaurant gets really busy as its quite small, and the personal touch from chef and his wife go along way. During Cowes week they are full every night, so book... More

This restaurant is definitely worth seeking out. We had a table for two in the window, and both of us thought this restaurant served great food at good prices. I especially enjoyed my seabass with mango and ginger - it was a tasty twist on the usual seabass. The homemade salted caramel ice cream was gorgeous - I have a... More

Dropped in over the summer a couple of times with the family and had a fantastic meal. Nice people, good service. Great stuff. Add it to your list of must visit restaurants.
