the food was the worst ive ever had and i would not recomend it. meat was hard roast was black and hollow

The decor is basic but with an interesting open plan room layout; looks like a converted hotel which it probably is. As a Crown Carvery it's hard to beat for value during the week and is usually busy.

This has a carvery restuarant and also serve pub meals. Had a nice pub lunch - soup and pasta meal to follow. Just undergone a refurb (jan 2013) so shall visit again soon.

although this is our local the bar needs refurbing, and the service needs adjusting to everyone's needs. i'd rather travel further to get a better meal.

i found the place dirty, food cold no taste,yorkshire puddings soggy, staff didnt seem to put them selfs out, wouldnt go back there, go out every week for lunch at least once this place is the worst we have been to.

1st time visit, excellent breakfast especially for the price, will definately be going back for my grandsons birthday breakfast, cannot make at home for this price, plus would have to cook it, wash dishes and tidy up, more than worth it

This is an OK carvery, not one of my favourite places, often very busy with families and children running all over the place.
