really fabulous location, food is a bit second rate alas! But it's OK for kids and big groups, not so good for couples or if you want a nice meal out for a special occasion. However, it's fine for lunch on a sunny day with all the family.

Excellent service with an attentive waiter. The food was a fair price but really just average pub food. The atmosphere was spoilt by some loud drunks on the next table

The Rubbing house is a real gem with a unique location within Epsoms downs racecourse. There is a wide and varied menu which is updated regularly. The food is always first class and the service is always friendly. Well worth a visit.
