The mussels were the best I have ever had. The atmosphere is stunning as you overlook the bay and the village. Incredible service Thank you!
We ended up at this restaurant out of convenience as it was right downstairs from where we were staying and we are so glad that we did. The food was some of the best that we had in Mexico. I had the steak and it was cooked perfectly, and my fiancé had the burger and raved about it. The prices... More
This is where you go for a special meal in Yelapa, without paying special prices. Their prices weren't really higher than other restaurants yet they definitely had the best atmosphere and food. Go on Friday night during high season (make a reservation or get there early) to hear Gabriella sing. If you're itching for a burger, they have an amazing... More
We were staying at Irma and Angel's Casa above this restarant and were not planning to go here but had run out of cash and they accept Visa so we went for the Mahi Mahi Dish and the Shrimp. Both were excellent. The setting was amazing and we were delighted by the beautiful music of Gabriella Coniglio. She is so... More
We visited El Cerrito three times during our five-night stay in Yelapa. Our first evening was spent at El Cerrito, and we couldn't get over how magnificent the view was. We mainly enjoyed the enjoyed the appetizers and have to give a thumbs up to the ceviche and bruschetta type dish (I can't remember the name), and margaritas. At first... More
We have vacationed in Yelapa for the past 3 years and were thrilled to see El Cerrito open 2 years ago. El Cerrito is purched up on a hill, lending itself to a great view of the small village of Yelapa at the head of its beautiful bay. We have had dinner at El Cerrito 4 times and have always... More
We had seared tuna @ Mahi Mahi both were outstanding. The beat side was great. The staff was good plus the cook was happy to give his recipe.
This chef knows what he is doing. I had a peppercorn and chile crusted seared tuna. Lovely pink inside and delicious, served over veggies in a citrusy sauce. Husband had mahi mahi over a savory. beet-rice mixture. And I adore the passionfruit margaritas! Staff was very nice. Also this is one of the few Yelapa places that takes credit cards.
8 family members and friends went over to Yelapa to try out the new restaurant, El Cerrito, recommend that you go over and enjoy chef's amazingly fresh and innovative food creations. from the view to the last bite we had a great experiance. Portions were perfect without being "oversized" and the price was respectable without being too much. The best... More
