Food and service were lovely. Had a hiccup as they didn't have our booking. Owner apologised and was lovely but we only had a limited time to eat which was a shame so no time for dessert or coffee but what we did have was fabulous!

The food was almost unbelievable. The taste was amazing. Very formal yet comfortable. Great choice of wine with suggestions from the waiter made it the perfect acompaniment to the meal.

We celebrated a birthday at this lovely restaurant. The food and wine were excellent, and the service first rate. There is also an art gallery upstairs with a very interesting exhibition of works made from silk.

Outstanding menu, fabulous service, local produce, top quality preparation and presentation. It doesn't get any better than this top quality restaurant. Try the goose liver.
